McGuire, Wood & Bissette, P.A. seeks an experienced transactional business associate to join it’s Corporate Practice Group in Asheville, North Carolina. McGuire, Wood & Bissette is a well-respected business law firm located in the heart of downtown Asheville. Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of general corporate/business law experience, including entity formation, contract negotiation, and ideally, transactional experience. This would include negotiating and drafting acquisition, joint venture, and other corporate transactional documents.
Exceptional project management skills are a must as well as research and writing skills and the ability to interpret and analyze complex transactions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a teamwork-oriented environment.
Experience with Trademark applications is a plus.

Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
