Doris Loomis was elected Chairperson of the Givens Board of Directors in July 2016. Doris’ relationship with Givens began as an attorney with McGuire, Wood & Bissette in the 1980s and steadily grew during her service on the Board for the past ten years.
Doris Loomis is a board certified specialist in estate planning and probate law who has been with the firm of McGuire, Wood & Bissette since 1981. During that time, she worked closely with Dick Wood, one of Givens’ founding board members and Board Chair for 24 years.
Doris has faithfully served on the Board of Directors since 2006 and on the Executive Committee since 2009. She has also chaired the Givens Resident and Health Services Committee for many years. Her depth of understanding of the Givens organization and mission is remarkable and will be an asset as Givens continues to care for its residents and prepares for the future.
