  • Obtaining governmental approvals, such as special use permits, rezoning or conditional zoning, variances, or subdivision approval
  • Forming and managing community associations, including drafting restrictive covenants, bylaws, and rules and regulations
  • Negotiating and drafting construction contracts, subcontractor agreements, and other construction-related documents
  • Review, negotiate, and draft residential and commercial lease agreements
  • Assist with compliance with federal, state, and local laws affecting real estate development projects
  • Representation in federal and state court, including bankruptcy proceedings, land use and zoning matters, foreclosures, deficiency judgments, real property disputes, and evictions
