McGuire Wood & Bissette Law Firm is pleased to announce the recent appointment of attorneys Kathleen R. Rodberg and Sabrina Presnell Rockoff to leadership positions with the North Carolina Bar Association for 2020-2021.
MWB Attorney Kathleen Rodberg
Kathleen will serve as Chair for the Elder and Special Needs Law Section. The Elder and Special Needs Law Section focuses on the wide array of issues facing those who are aging or have special needs. This includes Medicaid, Medicare, guardianship matters, and estate planning. As a Board-Certified Specialist in Elder Law through the North Carolina State Bar and a Certified Elder Law Attorney, Kathleen advises clients with respect to estate planning, long-term care planning, and estate and trust administration matters.
MWB Attorney Sabrina Rockoff
Sabrina will serve as Vice-Chair for the Labor and Employment Law Section. The Labor and Employment Law Section addresses many issues affecting employers and employees in North Carolina. This includes commenting on potential legislation, providing CLE programs, and serving as a statewide resource for labor and employment law attorneys. Sabrina counsels employers and regularly develops and drafts human resource practices, policies and contracts, conducts employee-related investigations, and other matters facing employers. In addition, Sabrina serves as Managing Partner of McGuire Wood & Bissette Law Firm.
