Asheville Humane Society “Dine To Be Kind” Fundraiser Re-Cap

Dine to be Kind

Dine to be Kind

MWB is a proud supporter of the Asheville Humane Society and the “Dine To Be Kind” event that happened again this year. This fun event is an opportunity to have a portion of your restaurant and/or brewery bill donated to the AVL Humane Society. Over 80 local restaurants and breweries participated in this worthy cause. This is a great way for diners to patronize their favorite places to grab a bite while at the same time supporting the care for our area’s pets.

The Humane Society, as Buncombe County’s critical safety net since 1984, is always there to save and protect every animal. They have mastered the art of saving lives within their walls and are going even further, helping the community’s pets and their people thrive together. They are going beyond a no-kill community to ensure that each animal has the quality of life they deserve, a life worth living.

MWB Attorney Murphy Fletcher serves on the Board of the Humane Society and later this year will take over as Board Chair. Murphy volunteered on site at a few of the participating restaurants including Sunny Point Café in West Asheville. She greeted diners and handed out Society information and portable water bowls for pet owners.
