Starling B. Underwood

Starling focuses on business and commercial litigation issues. He serves as an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, taking on such challenges as protecting and enforcing rights contained in partnership or membership agreements and bringing action for money owed. Starling specializes in cases regarding summary ejectments, promissory notes, deeds of trust, buy-sell agreements, leases and other contractual agreements. Starling represents all kinds of North Carolina commercial litigants in federal, appellate and state courts. He represents landlords to help preserve their rights, supports small business owners in their labor issues and helps clients take legal actions when they’re owed money from a business or individual. Starling’s knowledge and presence makes him a popular public speaker on Landlord/Tenant issues.
